Class Projects
During my time at California State University, Long Beach, I completed a series of Public Relations projects that consistently earned top marks. Each one reflects my strategic thinking, creativity, and commitment to clear, audience-focused communication. Below are a few standout examples.
For JOUR 471: Public Relations Management & Campaigns, my team and I created a campaign targeting students to encourage interaction with and utilization of the school's mental health resources. I've included the pages from our campaign book below.

Whilst attending CSULB in JOUR: 374, we worked with a non-profit organization to create sample material for their organization. For my Service Learning Project, I collaborated with the Panhellenic Council to create news releases, a backgrounder, an OP-ED that I ghost-wrote, a media advisory, and a fact sheet. Below you will find two of the mock-ups that I have created.

PRESS RELEASE SAMPLE
While attending California State University, Long Beach, I took JOUR 375: Strategic Communication. Our final project in this class was to create a Crisis Communication Plan. You will find snippets from a 30-page plan for the company Glastonbury Festival. I chose this company because I have often watched this event at home with my family while growing up. I wanted to dive deeper, learn more about the company, and apply my learning to an event.

In JOUR : 470 our agency Sprinkle Solutions created a social media audit for a local company Simone’s Donuts. We focused on enhancing Simone's Donuts' social media presence to build brand awareness and engagement. We analyzed their current branding and social media strategies, identifying strengths such as their recognizable logo and friendly tone, but also areas needing improvement like post variety and consistency across platforms. Our recommendations included increasing post variety, improving photography, interacting more with customers, and ensuring all social media channels are active and visually consistent. We believed that by implementing these strategies, Simone's Donuts can better connect with their audience, increase engagement, and ultimately drive more traffic and sales.

Media Design
I started doing graphic design in high school, as drawing and anything crafty have always been fun hobbies of mine. I discovered I loved learning Photoshop and took an advanced graphic design course. At Cal State Long Beach, I took Media Design and learned other Adobe Applications, such as InDesign. Here, you can view some of my work.
My Genre was Music as it's my passion; this magazine is to be known as an industry magazine where you can find out everything that is going on in the music industry specifically. It would be known for being an inclusive brand owned and run by a woman (myself). It would not only speak on what is going on but give tips and tricks on how to improve the reader's musical skills ex: industry professional tips, how-to's (record at home, play guitar, set up an at-home studio), and have an online submission where readers can have a minor feature after submitting their work to the website. This magazine's goal is to share news and inspire aspiring artists.
This was one of my favorite projects! The brief was to create a magazine cover using InDesign and Photoshop for your chosen topic and state the magazine's purpose. My description is featured below.
Magazine Project
For my final media design project, I made a media kit for an event. I based my event on Mamma Mia the Party. Using InDesign and Photoshop, I created an event invitation, RSVP card, event program, social media post, and program for the event. I thoroughly enjoyed this project as it tested my design and creativity skills and was proud of what I accomplished.
